PACE has been expanding into some schools with bilingual populations. Some Rhode Island parents who like to learn and read with their children have requested that PACE material be translated into Spanish. Scholars from Brown’s graduate program are currently translating the works of PACE. Look at next fall for this season’s material en Español!

Expanding into Physics and Chemistry

After many emails from high school teachers and students asking for expansion into physics and chemistry, PACE responds! Season Two of PACE will include common topics in physics and chemistry.

Our mad scientists look forward to churning out some juicy bits. Until then, did you know that when lightning strikes, it produces O3 (ozone) that actually helps strengthen the ozone layer of the atmosphere? UV C actually poses the greatest risk of skin cancer, and is blocked by ozone. More on this, and how to understand the naming of chemical compounds when our Intro to General Chem comes out this fall!
